Generation Z, ages 9-23, is notably the least religious generation yet to pass! Passing the Christian faith to the next generation is becoming increasingly difficult as giants like secularism, depravity and immorality have taken over their understanding of the world and how they live. According to Barna Research (2018):
– 2/3rds of our youth will be spiritually disengaged by the time they graduate college.– 42% of Generation Z’s religious population report a religious affiliation of: Atheist, Agnostic or Other.
– 16% of those ages 18-23 identify as gay or lesbian, compared to 2% of the Baby Boomer generation.
Today’s youth face giants like never before, and they must be prepared to stand strong for their faith NOW, or they will be overcome by the ways of the world.
There is a Mountain to Climb
It is not too late to turn the tide! It’s not too late to make an impact on this generation of youth. it’s not too late to win their heart to Jesus.
Students will spend nearly 10,000 hours in school between 6-12th grade! We have an opportunity to be a light and influence the Christian youth of our city.
Casper Christian School is partnering with the home and church to provide Christ centered academic excellence that will equip today’s youth to serve Christ in the world. Students who graduate from Casper Christian School are intellectually, physically, socially and spiritually prepared to live and lead for the glory of God.
There is hope for the community of Christian teens in Casper
Your gift, big or small, will have a generational and eternal impact. According to ACSI, the Association of Christian Schools International, graduates are 18% more likely to remain spiritually engaged through college and the adult years after graduation after attending an ACSI school.
Christian students must be prepared to stand strong for their faith NOW! When the home, church and school partner together to bring a consistent message to youth through an educational and spiritual context, they are much more likely to continue in their faith for a lifetime.
